ABOUT JASON

I built the coaching I wish I’d had.

I provide hands-on coaching for people navigating the LSAT, law school, an demanding personal goals.

My approach is highly individualized. I take the time to understand how you think, what is getting in your way, and what kind of support will actually help you move forward.

Front Facing Wash U Class Act

I learned this the hard way — that’s the point.

The LSAT did not come naturally to me. My first official score was a 147. Over six test administrations, I eventually earned a 173.

The process was frustrating and far from a straight line. I worked through disappointing scores, conflicting advice, and the challenge of figuring out why explanations seemed to make sense to other people but not to me. I needed someone who understood things at my level and would walk me through it. I never really found that person so I became it.

I studied the intersection of philosophy and cognitive psychology and TA’d formal logic — the backbone of how I teach the test and how I help people think clearly under pressure.

At Washington University School of Law, I was selected to deliver my class commencement address and founded the Wellness in Law & Life Society. After graduating in 2025, I practiced as a corporate attorney for startups and became a member of the D.C. Bar.

Ambition and well-being aren't opposites. They're the same project.

I keep my roster small intentionally small because I want to be genuinely involved with the people I work with. You should feel like you’re being coached from a friend who’s been exactly where you are where they are invested in helping you succeed.

Before law, I was a committed runner and spent years in natural bodybuilding. Those experiences taught me about discipline, performance, recovery, and the difference between a plan that looks good on paper and one a person can actually sustain.

More About Me

I have been tutoring and coaching since 2018. My work has included one-on-one LSAT tutoring, formal logic instruction, law-school guidance, exercise programming, nutrition guidance, and personal accountability coaching.

My students have had different starting points, goals, and learning styles. Some have needed help understanding the foundations of the LSAT. Others have needed support with timing, study structure, or preparing for a retake.

I am a high energy and optimistic person. My goal is to use this enthusiasm to connect with my students and build strong relationships. I’ve always loved passionate people and my personal passion is coaching others into finding fulfillment in their success.

Outside of coaching, I enjoy backpacking, travel, distance running, strength training, and conversations about people’s passions.

You don't have to navigate this alone.

What I Believe

The best coach meets you at your level, not over your head.

Honesty beats hype even when the honest answer is harder.

Achievement does not need to cost you your identity.
